The race took place in Morogoro last weekend 24th Aug 2019 it was under Tanzania Forest Services (TFS), CRDB Bank, Tanzania Wildlife Authority (TAWA) Jubilee Insurance and Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB).
Hon. Hamisi A. Kigwangalla was among contestant that ran 15 km in the race which had involved over 1000 contestant within Tanzania.
He says that marathon bring people together regardless of their colour and economic status, and congratulate the sponsor for brought people and promote tourism .
